Anyone own a Cannondale Synapse Road bike?
Thinking about buying a synapse w etap to replace my R3 that is five years old. Bike will be used for general training rides, long organized rides and races such as BWR, etc. Also, looking at a Scott foil with Di2. I can run up to 34cm tires on the Synapse and 32cm on the foil when necessary. I favor the components on the Synapse (SRAM Red etap) over the Ultegra Di2. Any Synapse owners w thoughts?

I have one and love it. The carbon frame is really comfortable - very comfortable for long rides and strong enough for racing. I use mine for training and racing. From a component standpoint, I use the ‘off the shelf’ complements, so I can comment if you want to upgrade them.

But overall rating (if we’re using a 10 point scale) is 9. The only issue I have is sometime the gears are a hair slow to change, esp from small ring to big ring. LBS mostly took care of that, but very solid 9.

Let me know if you have any specific questions.
