New Hellboy

I took my 15 y/o son to see the new Hellboy last night. His first 'R' rated movie in the theater too boot.

He loved it every minute of it. Even compared to the original Ron Perlman version. I thought it was a good popcorn flick. Way darker than the original. And the new actor nailed the character acting like a bit of a spoiled teenager.

Too much CGI, but what movie these days doesn't use CGI?

It's gotten terrible reviews.

I think it was sitting in single digits on Rotten Tomatoes.

I'll be interested to see it.

Slowguy

I went in with Low expectations. I just couldn't see anyone else besides Perlman play that role. It's worth the price of a matinee

Nothing to add, but made me think of my 1st "R" rated movie as a kid. First Blood.
