Whew. Based on the thread title I was concerned this may be a lamentation of your own short comings.
As for the snow, rumor has it its just a promotional stunt by HBO to get people into the whole "WINTER IS COMING" spirit.

Pussy. We got our 6" last Wednesday with the 2nd bomb cyclone of the year. But it was gone within a day and a half.

Ugh-I'm trying to figure out whether or not to plant new rose bushes based on this. Salt Lake City ***may*** be done by now, but I also remember reading another STer's lamentation about snow in May last year before I moved from Las Vegas.

I suppose if I get it wrong, then I'll start a post about near-frozen plant rescue...

I was working in the yard yesterday and our daffodils bloomed. Good 4" of slush up north and still snowing. Putain de ces temps.

Yesterday at noon, it was 68 at Nantucket airport. Wind from over land. At 12:15, it was 50. Wind shifted to from over the Atlantic

Don't worry, it will be 70 this week too.

I'm beginning to think that we are much more fucked than I thought.

Austin might be an overrated tourist attraction but this weekend is going to be sunny with highs near 80.
