Orthopods - my wife
So far this heat, my out of pocket insurance deductibles are:

750 for watch service after she left winder open in shower
1k car damage

But nows the good one

I have to pay for a ACL repair

So I've a question about braces post recovery

She had her other knee done six years ago

Are these CTI braces any good for preventing reoccurence?

Thanks

I've heard about a thing called Tinder. Might be a cheaper option than continuing down the same path you have been on. ;)

If she's playing a sport where she could get hit laterally it could cause a dislocated hip which is worse than blowing out your knee.

You have far too many sunk costs to use Tinder IMO

I agree

Could you dislocate a hip skiing? Or boarding?

If the foot is "planted" and the rest of the body moves usually the knee would be what "gives" but instead the brace protects the knee so something else has to give. I wore similar knee braces prophylacticly playing football until they started having guys get bad hip and ankle injuries. Mind you that was a long time ago so they may have made the braces better in the interim.
