I went out on the silver comet with my daughter in tow behind me and had a ridiculous ride lol. What's your highest power to lowest speed ride on the road?

Haha, that one will be tough to beat. And, I find the Silver Comet a very slow surface, which adds to your glory. I ride about 1 MPH slower on the SC compared to similar conditions anywhere else, especially after mile ~12.

Mauna Kea. 244W for the first 3.5 hours at 9.9mph and it got worse from there. Much, much worse.

IMC-Whistler. Same power on a course like IMFL, IMTX, or IMAZ and the ride would've been an hour faster.

Maui 2017 was hard enough, I couldn't imagine how hard it was in 2016.

I rode to Mauna Kea from Kona (since a section of road from the Hilo side was ripped up for road works).

.....the top road from the visitor centre was closed for high winds....I waited my whole week there for it to re-open but no luck (or maybe I got lucky!).

About those winds, there is a segment on strava called 'steepest mile of Mauna Kea'.....it was an a bloc headwind at 25-30mph (or more)....and took me near 18 minutes at 217 W

I just did one hour from saddle road to the visitor center at about 260W....barely 10 km. That would qualify as my highest power slowest ride....forget about the entire thing. Then there are some computrainer rides where I averaged 270W for 30 minutes and did not move at all.

Not sure these days, haven’t been back to mountains in a while.

Couple years back maybe an hour avg of 13 or so at 240 or so for repeats in a wet Paris Mtn. Wet I had zero descent confidence so went slow.

In my neighborhood I have loop laps of 1.5mi at avg of over 100ft per mile but that’s nearly 20mph nowadays. That’s as steep as it gets. Just rollers and 1min hills.

I like mountains but the three hour drive each way stinks.

Power was sub 200w but that last 28mi up Mitchell after the 74 to Marion stinks. That was slow.
