Broke my device and now wonder if I can live without it.
Have any of you stopped using yours? Withdrawal or liberating?
Indoor Triathlete - I thought I was right, until I realized I was wrong.
I just used a watch with hands for a while, but decided that was a little much. I bought a timex ironman at walmart and it calculates splits nicely and lights up at night.
I got a powertap 2 years ago so i could use zwift on the rollers, but for outside I'm not sure i care so much about data
I have a simple waterproof Casio that does a good job with time.
Got hooked on Powertap C1 and Joule GPS to the point of looking at it and fiddling with it too much during rides. Now that it's gone, I'm looking at all the options again. Simplest thing would be to get a replacement Garmin/Joule. The iWatch would be pretty handy on the swim and run too. Or maybe Powerpod and just look at the data when I get home.
Judging from the lack or response, nobody seems to go back to less data. It's addictive...
