He raced at 3.72 w/kg. If you make some light assumptions based off his performance the lowest his FTP would be is 360 at 4.5w/kg but that would mean he rode at a .84IF which is unlikely. An ftp of 385 ridden at a .80 IF would be 308 watts. That would be a 4.75 w/kg which is amazing but reasonable. I'm betting between 375-395 FTP.

Why would a .84 IF be “unlikely”?

It has always been my understanding that for a stronger cyclist, IF range of .80-.85 is about ideal for a HIM bike split, and still being able to run well after.
