Road/ Gravel Wheel Selection.

I am building a monster Gravel/ Road Bike. Bought a S-Works Crux frame. Adding Sram Force 1X drive train. Now trying to figure out the wheels.

Right now I am leaning Reynolds ATR, but I keep coming back to Zipp 303. What do y’all think? What middle depth wheels would you use? I am putting 30-35 width tires on them.

I bought a pair of November Wheels, Cafe Racer 46, which are meant to be very much all surface wheels for bikes with drop bars. I’ve heard good things about them and am excited to try them out in a few weeks.

Awesome!!! It seems like the Reynolds ATR are of that mindset. I can get a set of Reynolds ATRs and Zipp 30s for the price of 303. Might be the better route.... have a road and Gravel setup.

With a user name like that I’m guessing you might be in Texas. Check out Cantu’s gravel wheels. Hand built just outside Conroe area.

They’re at the top of my list when I’m ready to upgrade from my stock wheels.

Look up Hunt wheels. Great reviews, pretty light, very affordable. Just put a set of their 4 Season Gravel wheels on my gravel bike and the rear wheel alone dropped me a half pound.

I dont know what $$ you really want to spend but at the end of the day gravel wheels get the crap beat out of them - these are IMO the best wheels hands down in terms of value and performance;
