I'm not usually a premium guy. I'm just too cheap.

Having said that, while there is a level above my drum set, I did get a professional model and it is nicer than just about anyone whom i've seen locally or played with. Definitely worth the $4K.



Other than that, there's my $4K bed that is too hot and my wife hates.

ETA - didn't even think about our chilicubes as being "items we've paid a premium for" but they obviously are and they represent probably some of the best money we've spent as a married couple.

I think Audi used a gas V-10 was only in the mid-2000s to early 2010s S6 and S8, and now there's one in the R8. I could certainly be wrong though.
