... but they really should change the time that the changeover occurs. 2am is so inconvenient to have to go around resetting clocks

It's easier in the spring; at least you only have to get up once to set your clocks forward.

It's much harder in the fall: the alarm goes off at 2 a.m., you get up, set the clocks back an hour, and then the alarm goes off again at 2 a.m. I'm still not quite sure how this cycle is supposed to end; last year my wife threw the clock out the window but I know that's not right.

In the fall, after you've gotten up at 2am to reset the clocks, the smart ones remember to turn off the alarm so it doesn't go off again at 2am.

IF this poll stays up until November 3rd, I'm switching my vote to C. I don't give two shits if it's standard or savings time, I just hate changing clocks.

BTW, we have an atomic clock that doesn't change itself over until a week later. Should reset this weekend.

Anyone else have this? Anyone have an explanation?

My guess old programming. Would have to go check, but the politicians have been moving when DST starts and ends so old stuff doesn't change at the right time anymore. Just one more reason this whole thing is F'd up.
