Quickly revisiting this thread, given that Trump has now blasted through the 20,000 lies mark, according to WaPo's Fact Checker.

He reached his first 10,000 in just over 2 years, and the next 10,000 in just over 1 more year. This seems to have exceeded even the most extreme forecasts, although I can boast that I did pick up on the acceleration in lying, and I did think he had it in him. Recently Trump has been clocked at more than 60 lies in a single short interview. Is there any recorded instance of him being bested in deceit?

Final wager: what will the number be by the end of his four years? Certainly the next few months should be a torrid time for mendacity. Stretch target of 30,000?
