The chances your kid maybe smarter then the teacher is probably 50/50.If I was a kid I'd like those odds.

Its a test.
If your not smart enough, to understand the communication, you need a better education and don't get the week off.
Language is used to communicate information.
Never understood why people get so hung up on things that don't really stop the exchange of that information.
of course this from the person who pointed to the ceiling as a kid and asked my mom If they were aware of the outdention, after a slight pause she replied, yes that bump has been there a long time.

It's highly unlikely that sign was done by a teacher. Either support staff or some kids in a work study program.
