Training Peaks Adavanced Ironman Training Plan
Quote | Reply
I am signed up for Ironman Arizona 2019. I have completed four ironmans: Ironman Coeur d'Alene 2007, 2009, 2012 and 2016. My finish times are 12:18, 11:40, 11:41 and 12:06. Respectively, I had a friend write me a plan, bought a plan, got coached and trained myself. I am a horrible coach for myself but can't afford a coach this year. I am looking for a plan that will help me break 11 hours. I know - I'm 10 years older than I was in 2008 - but I am a better swimmer and a smarter racer (and, Arizona has about 4,000 feet less on the bike). Couer d'Alene can be hot, cold, windy and smoky so I am prepared for anything Tempe can throw at me. I am looking for a bike-focused, power-based plan.

I am turning to you - a group of some of the best and most knowledgeable endurance athletes in the world- to get a recommendation for a 12 to 14 week plan.
