consultation? My primary care doc referred me to a local urologist. Two weeks later (maybe it was less...was a long time ago, so memory is fuzzy), I see the urologist. They prep me (that means I took off my pants), local anesthetic, and cut, snip, cauterize and stitch, and I'm done.
I could bike and run a week later.
Simply not a big deal.
The worst part was walking in 8 weeks later with a "sample" to see if there were any sperm in it.
