Im in need of new race wheels, my Shamals have retired discracefully after an accident. At 90kg (approx 200lbs) i am steering away from carbon wheels.

it has been suggested that i go for Ksyrium Elite or Zipp 404 "Clydesdale" the latter are almostt double the cost at $A2500

which is going to give me better value?

any suggestions or reccomendations

American Classic will build a set of 420's to fit your weight and riding style. Plenty light, strong and aero.
Watchout, though, the manager is a friggin Aussie, you know how those guys are...

You are a light weight at 2 bills. I ride HED 3's and when I bought them HED explained the warranty policy to me. It went something like you have a full warranty for 2 years or 8000 miles just be honest about the purchase date if you have a problem. BTW I am currently 260 and will race at 230. hedcycling.com e shopping and everything. Goodluck
