There has been an outbreak of measles in Mongolia where I am working. The government now requires all incoming ex pats to show proof of Measles vaccination. So despite having had measles as a kid and getting tested for measles anti bodies last year, today I had the MMR vaccine. So far:
- I haven't caught autism
- Died from the "toxic" chemicals
- Died from side effects
- Died from SIDS
- Overwhelmed my immune system by having three vaccines at once
- Caught cancer
- Died from heavy metal poisoning
- Died from anti freeze poisoning
I also haven't caught Polio, Tetanus and TB which I was immunized against as a kid.
Vaccines save lives.
How'd you get measles if you were vaccinated?
The MMR vaccine had not been developed when I was a kid. So like most people my age I had measles, chickenpox and mumps as a kid.
My doctor tested me for measles anti bodies to ensure that I was protected before I started working in Mongolia.
Now due to a government regulation I have had to have the MMR as an adult so that I can get a certificate to prove that I have been immunised.
Polio, Tetanus and TB vaccines were available when I was a kid.
