There has been an outbreak of measles in Mongolia where I am working. The government now requires all incoming ex pats to show proof of Measles vaccination. So despite having had measles as a kid and getting tested for measles anti bodies last year, today I had the MMR vaccine.

So far:
  1. I haven't caught autism
  2. Died from the "toxic" chemicals
  3. Died from side effects
  4. Died from SIDS
  5. Overwhelmed my immune system by having three vaccines at once
  6. Caught cancer
  7. Died from heavy metal poisoning
  8. Died from anti freeze poisoning

I also haven't caught Polio, Tetanus and TB which I was immunized against as a kid.

Vaccines save lives.

How'd you get measles if you were vaccinated?

The MMR vaccine had not been developed when I was a kid. So like most people my age I had measles, chickenpox and mumps as a kid.
My doctor tested me for measles anti bodies to ensure that I was protected before I started working in Mongolia.
Now due to a government regulation I have had to have the MMR as an adult so that I can get a certificate to prove that I have been immunised.

Polio, Tetanus and TB vaccines were available when I was a kid.
