I'm fairly agnostic on disc vs rim except that I think anyone who want to ride carbon clinchers should be compelled to use disc.
As far as I can see the rim brake wheel tested had 18 spokes and the disc 24 spokes. Implying that the rim optimization gave quite a large advantage to make up for the extra 6 spokes and larger hub.
Aero testing doesn't include the rotational drag - typically about 25-30% of translational drag. So the extra spokes will add on a little extra drag (<0.5W?) relative to rim brake.
