New TriRig Omega brake issue
New brake just installed on the rear and the calipers stick shut when I apply the brake. I sprayed the upper area where the orange rollers are with WD-40 and that solved the issue for about 10mins but now it’s sticking closed again each time I apply the brakes. Have another on the front and it works flawlessly.

Any suggestions? Thx.

Did you replace your brake cables and housing?

try applying some park tool grease instead. WD40 is more of a cleaning agent

Don’t really want to go thru the hassle of swapping. What could be the issue with the cable?

Used the WD40 as I thought that might clean it out a bit, will try grease and see if that helps. Thx.

I agree. He has been quite responsive to me.

The biggest issue with the cable would be a kink, a bind, etc. take the cable out at least and see if it move completely freely

Always happy to help. Just email support@tririg.com, and sending pictures and/or video of the issue would be great.

I double agree...I had an Omega pad holder that had a screw freeze and Nick emailed back right away letting me know he sent a replacement holder out via Priority Mail.
