Just got a used Etap groupset and the guy didn't know if it was short or wifli how can I tell. Do I measure the cage? If so then what are the measurements for each? thanks in advance for your help

I have the short ETap RD. It looks "normal" and quite compact.
Apparently the Wifli body is different in addition to the cage. Therefore you cannot convert. I find the best photos are usually on EBAY and you can compare from there.
Just a guess - you probably got the regular one, more common.
I have not seen any used Wifli's.

I have just replaced my RD with the WiFli - the cage has a few differences but on the WiFli the jockey wheels are about 3.0 inches Center to Center - so much longer that the normal one. Hope this helps
