For those that question the NBA outside of the US you are sorely mistaken. My daughter teaches English in Madrid, her students were Cavalier and Warrior fans last year, this year they are Laker and Warriors fans.
Same in Japan, except Kyrie Irving is more popular than James, at least with my students.
