I still have my favorite Toque from High School. The thing is over 35 years old but still keeps your head warm like a champ. I keep it in the car and when my daughter forgets her hat for after swim practice. She refers to it as The Toque of Shame.

A good Canadian has a proper collection of Tuques or Toques (both seem to be the approved spelling) - http://www.syllabus.ca/...-do-you-spell-tuque/
Never call it a "hat" as the Americans tend to do!
Anytime the temps are below about 5C, I will be wearing a tuque.
