A few weeks ago while surfing the web, I stumbled across a thread-together BB86 bottom bracket, similar to a Wheels Manufacturing BB, except with specific bearings for the 24mm FSA MegaExo spindles. I forgot to bookmark the page, and now can't remember the company name or find my way back to their site.
Anyone here who can give me a link, name, or even a hint?
I know that the Shimano Hollowtech II spindles are nominally the same size, but apparently the two companies stack the tolerances in opposite directions so the MegaExo spindles are often a very tight fit in a Shimano-specific BB. I'm looking at a power meter with MegaExo spindle, so I'm not too keen on using the normal methods of persuasion it sometimes takes to get a MegaExo spindle into a snug BB. The BB I'm looking for had bearings with a slight overbore (24.03mm?) to facilitate the FSA's different tolerances.
