No Ceiling to Mortality Benefits of Aerobic Fitness

Large trial (~122K people), long f/u (~8.4 yrs).
Clear benefits of being active from a mortality standpoint. It was retrospective, but still powerful data.

Every time I read medical journal articles I'm really thankful for the simplicity and clarity of my profession - law.

Of course subjects that deal with natural systems typically have to deal with incomplete data, incredible complexity and a high level of uncertainty. It's often impossible to keep things too simple without making them misleading. The legal profession deals with rules they participate in creating, and which they manage and implement. I tend to find the legal professions lack of clarity remarkable, though I think this depends somewhat on which legal system is concerned. Some appear to be much worse than others. That said, medical articles tend to be much, much worse than physics, chemistry, astronomy, engineering, maths, etc.....
