You can use bestbikesplit to reverse engineer your CdA (coefficient of drag): create a BBS course or use an existing course derived from your most recent race (export power file as gpx). Plug in your bike numbers as accurately as possible (weight, equipment, tires etc.), get weather data from the date of that race, put your actual power numbers in from the race and then play with the CdA # until you get your actual race time. Save that number and run a simulation for a different course. Should now give you a fairly accurate estimate.
