Kona vacation - bike rental?

We are heading to Kona for vacation over the holiday and looking for information on any place to rent a bike. I’m planning on running and hoping to swim but didn’t know if you could rent a bike and how safe it is.
Any other input from folks who’ve been there would be appreciated. Thanks

Bikeworks. Go on-line, it is easy. I have used them twice. Great experience

Several options for renting depending on where you are staying. Besides the options above there is also Nick at Velofix. Plenty of safe riding!

Yep, I've always used Bike Works. Two locations.....one in Kailua-Kona and the other in Waikaloa. Both rent bikes.
