XTerra pro bikes?

Just curious, are our benevolent overlords planning on doing any pro bike features from the XTerra circuit? I was watching some of the live coverage of XTerra worlds, and the conditions looked horrendously muddy, a lot of people getting forced to walk up some of the hills on the bike course. Which got me thinking, it would be nice to know what people were riding, especially tire choice, pressures, wheel size, suspension settings, and the like.

I would like to hear the same, depending on the mud sometimes it is better to go with very narrow mud tires. Counter intuitive but that is what is done in cyclocross too. If you are digging a rut, dig the deepest rut to get traction. I have heard of 700 X 30c tires in muddy CX races. This is the second time in 3 years where xterra WC has been a miserable mud bath. My friend did it 3 years ago and said she will never go again.

I brought these tires with me last year:

Continental Mud King ProTection MTB-Folding Tire 27.5x1.8 Inches

They are a hard narrow tread with longer knobs. I'm glad I didn't have to use them.
