I need to track miles to see how much I need to eat. I work as a bike messenger... buildings screw with gps devices, and most wireless bike computers (cat eye) get signals screwed up from RF interference (trolley, elevators, etc). Also wired bike computer starts failing when there is moisture . So I want to go analog... I have found some mechanical odometers, but they look like they only fit bikes with bolt on wheels, not quick release. anyone know one that works with QR?

That seems to be a completely wrong approach to both biking and eating

You need a cable driven odometer. Amazon sells them. Your mileage may vary, though! ;)
