PARIS (AP) -- Two cyclists with the Cofidis team were held for questioning Tuesday, but police said they didn't find drugs in a search of their bags at an airport.
Cedric Vasseur and Philippe Gaumont were headed home after a 10-day training session in southern Spain when they were stopped by police.
Last week, police detained two former Cofidis riders and a member of the team's support staff.
Police seized male hormones, the performance enhancer EPO and amphetamines in an investigation of Cofidis, one of France's top cycling teams.
Drugs have tarnished the sport of cycling since 1998, when the Tour de France was hit by a scandal. The Festina team was kicked out of that race after a stash of products, including EPO, was found in a team car.
