what's the ST equivalent?
was at a buddy's yesterday, he had his out and we got to shooting it...i think i'm hooked. i like that i can set up a target in my back yard vs having to pack up and drive to the range then drive back.

thanks much

To the OP, don't go there. If you think this place can be a shit show, that place is worse. For every 1 knowledgeable person, there are 20 who don't know a thing, but think they do.

Worse. There are a couple flat out idiots here, but most are just biased and intellectually dishonest.

Back in the day, ArcheryTalk but I haven't bothered for years. The classifieds were well run, very similar to this forum.

Another vote for archerytalk. Some very knowledgeable folks there that answered a ton of questions for me when I was a newbie. Worth noting that they love the sport and welcome new comers.

I have a 25 yard range setup in my backyard it's a blast AND super relaxing. Play it safe though and look into your cities ordinances before you set one up.

Hunting in central Illinois is a shit show, I pretty much refuse to pay multiple thousands of dollars to hunt someone's land for 3 months. Shooting a nice buck is great, but i really just wanted the meat for the freezer and bucks are not much good for meat.

I used to do 3D shoots and 5/3 spot tourneys for a while. 297 PR in 5 spot, but was shooting 200-300 shots a day. I ride enough to justify it. Maybe if I live outside of town I would get back in to it. Just like bikes though, bows are N+1.
