People won't like him because he's smart, successful, and humble.

I really don't get the shade here on Lionel, but Ed is not Lionel...he's just a rich guy who's wife probably needed him out of the house after he left his last job. Pretty sure he'll never need to work again a day in his life which is much more impressive that being decent at Triathlon. https://www.slowtwitch.com/...st_Startup_7021.html

I like him just fine - he's basically doing what I'm doing except he got to do it 25 years earlier and with a lot more money in the bank.

He's top of the leader board on the Concept 2 rankings too.

That is 400 watts average for 6:23 min.

So wait, Mark Zuckerberg uses Strava and Zwift?
I think that might be the most surprising thing in this video.

The real question is when does he buy Zwift or come up with a different platform and make it more social.

Yeah, all humble triathletes make documentaries about themselves.

I enjoyed that video, thanks!

Kudos to him - he's got solid training, a great coach, and works hard.

I still gotta comment - I could be wrong (but probably not!), but he again seems like one of the few uber-rich ex-Silicon valley startup guys for whom money AND time is no issue. His pain cave is literally the nicest pain cave I've ever seen, and doesn't sound like he has to juggle a job so he can just train like a pro. (I'm sure he worked plenty hard during his startup days, though.)

Loved the tone of the video. Great shots, music, cuts. Very professional He's so calm and relaxed. Awesome to watch. Hoping I can get within 45min of him on Saturday!! He's definitely racing for first age grouper, and with that video, I'm guessing going pro soon after!
