God needs to hire a new VP of Marketing.

Well, I guess it's better than if he had said, "this is God's punishment for being a godless Jew and preventing the Rapture from coming and sweeping us good Christians up to heaven and leaving you heathens on earth for Armageddon." It's an improvement from that, but that's about it. That's the part of the extreme evangelical theology I always found deeply amusing - their support of Israel, but not Judaism.
