There is a bolt hole underneath. Where it is attached.

Thanks! I’ve had an idea on how I can make this fit a number of different bikes - will take some time to design. If I can make this work well I will consider a Kickstarter campaign :)

It doesn’t, it’s a 2013 so the frame is different unfortunately.

Looks great. I've thought of doing this many a time.

Give it a light sand and a quick acetone dip and it will come up looking schmick.

Why not try and sell it to Cervelo?

I really like the idea here!

A layer of XTC-3D (or similar thin epoxy) and some paint would get rid of the layer lines and add some waterproofing.

It might be worth sacrificing an old (buytl) tube to go under and behind to keep the plastic from abrading the carbon fiber or the clear coat. (might not be an issue on the bottom if that is a flexible filament)

I hope you are printing in PETG, Nylon, or ABS (i suspect it will soften too much if it is PLA in the heat of the day)

About the only thing i don't like is the hex bolt securing mechanism. If you have some room at the top, you could look at having a recessed (captive) thumb screw.

But having said that, i think it is a awesome idea.

I do the same thing as them, just slower

This is not a knock on the product so don’t take it that way.

Cervelo if they wanted could knock one of these out in about 30 mins. They could also in a few days throw the design into the CFD program for the p5 and modify it enough for it to be net positive or neutral to airflow.

Unfortunately Cervelo has treated the p4 and p5 as not needed after a few years and a new model and stoped caring about them. They were looking at doing this for the p4 it didn’t happen. There is a bolt to do this on the p5 I’m not sure what else it would be for but it never happened. Magura stopped making the brakes for the p5 as well. For whatever reason Cervelo doesn’t care about former product support after they release a new bike.

Although they have always been awesome with warranty claims for me, this lack of post product support makes me feel like I’ll be looking at another brand when the time comes.
