D'Kid has me committed to doing Inktober this year
https://inktober.com/
Do any of you folks participate, or have you done so in the past? I was gonna do it last year, but I saw "Oh SHIT! There's actually PROMPTS? Like you HAVE to do these words? Fuck that; I'm out"
I think I've mentioned that I've been struggling with a near-paralyzing case of artistic block* [as far as pens & pencils & paper goes, that is; I'm writing fine, thanks] Performing to an assigned task right out of the gate was a bit overwhelming for me. I've been doodling around a bit lately and even posting pix now & then, so I feel I have gained a little bit of confidence back. This may be the beginning of a return to form, who knows?
I especially like that Jake uses running metaphor in his intro
* My therapist believed it was because of the shit that went down at the ad agency

Note: you can do it daily, or go the half-marathon route and post every other day, or just do the 5K and post once a week. What ever you decide, just be consistent with it. Inktober is about growing and improving and forming positive habits, so the more consistent you are, the better.* My therapist believed it was because of the shit that went down at the ad agency
