I'm 43, if anything I think I tend to recover from illness quicker than when I was younger, because I'm much smarter about spotting the signs early and looking after myself where in my 20s I just used to try and tough it out. Injuries are different - again I'm smarter about how I deal with niggling injuries caused by training, but I've definitely noticed that it takes me a bit longer to heal from trauma injuries such as crashes.
