QR PR5 Etap
Just bought a used PR5 with mechanical shifting. Anyone running Etap on theirs. Just wondering where you mounted the blip box.
Can you tuck the blip box in the front section of the QR top tube storage so it's hidden?

Not sure if I want to switch to etap or pull the Di2 off my current bike and put it on the PR5.

You don't see Syntace bars much, but I have always been a fan. How is your BTA mounted, and what are your base bars?

I've owned both. I prefer Di2. And while, yes, installing etap is a bit easier, keep in mind thats a one time deal. So you (or your shop) spends an hour routing the di2 wires and shoving the battery in the seatpost. Then its done. And no massive blip box, no batteries on the derailleurs, di2 battery charge lasts forever, faster shifts, auto trim fd, bigger selection of components for less $$ etc etc

What is the material on the QR box? I have Torhans Bento X but might want something a little bigger....despite what the QR website says, is there any legit reason that the QR bento couldn’t work on a Non QR bike (perhaps with minimal modification)?

Syntace base bars. BTA is a Syntace AquJet that custom fits into the C6. If you are a weight weenie, there might be a 450 gram weight saving with this setup compared to the more well known brand(s). However, don't expect much in adjustability. Very difficult to find in the USA. Much easier to find in a German based retailer.
