50k 2/9/19 and then Marathon 04/15/19 (9 weeks between)

Wanted to get some opinions here:

I'd like to do a 50k trail run in February.
I'd also like to do a marathon in mid-April.
Is 9 weeks enough recovery time to go "all out" in both races or should I use the 1st (50k) s a training run for the marathon?
Marathon is more "important" to me but ................ who really races a race as a training run?

I realize this is highly personalized and subject to individual abilities and recover need times.
I also realize the responses will be opinions but none the less appreciate the feedback!
