The perfect Florida politician

In this day & age, when all info is online/fairly verifiable, I have to give her full props for the BS factor. She sounds like a perfect politician, especially for FL. Not sure voters will care.....

One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs." John Rogers

I kinda wondered if she didn't do it on purpose. I mean this is Florida, and she is going to get a ton of free press. Voters might just like her for "sticking it to the man" or "identifying as a college graduate". Who knows.

Well, she’s got the whole crying #fakenews thing down. It’s been working really well for others.

Dude! It was just a mistake, not an intent to deceive! Give the poor woman a break ...

“I would like to apologize to my family and my supporters for this situation,” Howard said in a statement. “It was not my intent to deceive or mislead anyone. I made a mistake in saying that I completed my degree. What I did was wrong and set a bad example for someone seeking public service. I am staying in the race and intend to win and lead by example from now on.”

You mean people care about the truth now?

When did that happen?

Love this.

"It was not my intent to deceive or mislead anyone." I just deliberately lied about having completed a degree, and then faked a college diploma, and gave myself a fake degree in a subject the school doesn't offer a degree for, and essentially repeatedly lied to anyone who would listen, oh and yeah, I may have lied a little about my NRA grade,....but that's not the same as intending to deceive. You can definitely trust me to tell the truth from here on out. I promise. Pinkie swear.

It's amazing to me that she created a fake diploma, framed it (could not have been cheap), and got her mom on board.

From Ms. BLeP: maybe if she had graduated she would have learned the actual definition for the word deceive.

Yeah, what do you mean you didn't intend to mislead. WTF was the picture for then?

I'm beginning to think that we are much more fucked than I thought.

As I said, the perfect Florida politician.

I hope she wins. Just for the pure Shannon Tweed factor in the fuck all that most politics has become.

My favorite part of the lies was when someone on her campaign came out and said it would take 4 weeks to get transcripts - or course they would arrive after the election—- oh, and this was said after the University publicly announced she didn’t have a degree.

Most convenient heart attack in the world. She needs to be next Speaker of the House:

I still think she wins. She has the "HBO/Showtime 1982-1999 post mid-night" vote locked up. Preferably with handcuffs. Or a stern look. Or detention. Umm...I'm sorry, got sidetracked.....

Either the GOP told her they wouldn't fund her and that she should drop out or the convenient heart attack was faked also.

My Dad worked for a large software company and after one of their acquisitions legacy employees were complaining the newly acquired employees were being paid more. The company did an audit and they discovered 2 or 3 of the more vocal employees lied about their degree. While they didn't get fired they were told it would be in their best interest to keep their head down.

Definite future in MILF porn. She has already shown that she has no principles.

What's unprincipled about MILF porn? Honest living.

When I read this title I was hoping that an alligator on meth was running for office. I am only slightly disappointed it is this story instead.
