Why is it all the best ways to win at gambling seem to involve many long hours of exceptionally tedious work? :)

I want to be 007 damnit.

I'm beginning to think that we are much more fucked than I thought.

Very interesting. I thought there was somebody else who figured out a particular roulette wheel was biased and took advantage of it. The casino moved wheels around but he was able to identify some scratches.

Obviously, casinos don't like to lose, but it's interesting when they fight people's winning, when they take advantage of the casino's mistakes.

Casino fails to shuffle cards and players notice before casino.

I found it interesting that on the shuffle card fail that you linked, that the casino settled with the card manufacturer on it, but the amount of the settlement was not disclosed and confidential, yet they still came after the players to get their money back. How much you wanna bet that they got their money back from the card manufacturer but came after the players too, to essentially get a double payback and come out of the situation with a big profit.

It barely mentions it, but says the casino offered to let the player keep the money, but wanted them to drop "other" charges. No mention of what those other allegations are, but the players refused the offer. Strange.

The video of Richard Turner that is linked above is incredible. I've seen it many times before. I can't get enough of it. Amazing what the guy can do without being able to see.

I’m always intrigued by a family of high achievers like the Jarecki’s. Everyone seemed extraordinary.
