I guess reading comprehension isn't one of your strengtha? Where did anyone say "world record" or "age group record"? The record was from the Far West International Championship in California. Phelps has held the record there since 1995. This kid took it down. I guess you aren't impressed. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.
