Best Way to Clean White Cervelo Matte finish?
How do I get grime, grease, etc. off the matte white portions of my Cervelo? Soap and water aren't making a dent. Hesitant to use anything abrasive at all (i.e. magic eraser, etc.) or really get after it with extra elbow grease. Also worried Simple Green might stain it. Anything on the market or home remedy that works?

Super Bike Wash. Spray directly on and a little work keeps my bike spotless.

I sometimes use brake cleaner when even that fails like when my bike shop left epoxy stains on my fork after glueing in the headtube metal tube I made a washing detergent (ariel color if you must know) solution to get that off. I have found it to be more effective than the break cleaner. Frame turned out spotless.

Acetone will clean any matt finish frame to look like new.

I have had good results using Muck Offs drive train cleaner applied via a rag. It rapidly removes the grease and dirt without leaving a residue. As the stuff is designed to be applied onto drive trains where overspray onto the frame is unavoidable I also assume it is safe on all frame finishes. You should be able to verify that with some googling.

Lysol wipes seem to do a really great job on my wife's matte white frame. If that fails me (which it rarely does), WD40 gets just about anything else off.

I leave it on. A dirty bike makes the purists lose their minds.

I've used lysol wipes before with relatively good results. I've also used windex. What I've found works best though is WD-40. It cuts through grease smudges like nothing.

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Not need to use heavy pressure. Just some water and light pressure will clean it up nicely. Wipe dry when done.

Tried WD-40 - not really making a dent outside of getting some surface dirt off.

After trying most of the things suggested here, including copious amounts of WD40 - nothing worked. I went ahead and broke out the Magic Eraser. With a little water and very light pressure, 99% of all stains are gone and the finish appears to be unharmed. I wouldn't want to use it often on the course, matte finish areas - but it worked like a charm with very little effort and about 30 seconds of total time.

Using a magic eraser is the equivalent of using sandpaper. Maybe ok for occasional stubborn stains, but I wouldn't make a habit out of it.

I use Simple Green diluted with water. About 1:4.
