I've used my BikeBoxAlan on 4 separate occasions for out of country races and travel with a Super9 disc. Just dont use the anticrush pole. The case is very strong on its own and the pole is more for piece of mind. They say it can be used without the pole but of course will not go on record as they dont want to be liable.
