Need help with T3 basebar on a P3
A friend of mine wants to separate the extensions on his Cervelo P3. They seem to bolted to the basebar in one area with no room for adjustment.

Is there something that can be done other than replacing the basebar to accomplish this?

DETatch arm pads and un scerw 4 bolts. Then you will get enough place for hex wrench

Stay home, stay healthy.

if I understand right, he wants to widen the extensions?

If so, then no, that model of 3T bar is fixed.

Exactly. He detached it but there doesn’t appear to be any way to widen it. Is there a different extension adapter to use?

Not for that kind of 3T bar unfortunately. 3T (used to?) sell a wide clamp kit... but it will only allow you to widen the pads, not the extensions themselves. (likewise, the old Mistrals allowed adjustment to pads, but not extensions)

You can adjust the bar width on the new bars (Revo/Vola) but not on the older (as pictured) ones. :(
