Wahoo Bolt Mounting - Tri-Bike
I recently purchased a Wahoo Elemnt Bolt and was wondering if anyone has a set up they used with a water bottle between the aero bars? I looked at the Xlab systems but they are only compatible with Garmin units. Thanks

Which SRAM mount is that......have been using "frankenmount" that involves a lot of zip ties, etc....for my Bolt.

If your bars are really narrow or you are cramped for space you can make your own mount. I took the standard quarter turn mount, very small piece of PVC pipe ( 2cm), zipp tie, and electrical tape and made my own mount. Not ideal but its cheap and works. Food for thought if you need a quick solution.

I'm pretty sure almost any mount with a replaceable insert will work with this if there are bolt holes at 12 & 6 (i.e. the garmin bolt holes are usually @ 3 & 9). Worst case scenario....glue this insert in.

And weirdly, my Bolt fits in to my Barfly Garmin TT mount pretty nicely. I just sort of wedge it in there and turn it. Did a 10 mile TT over some really crap roads last week and it stayed put. Seems to go in better if I insert the Bolt rotated with the top at 225 degrees instead of 45 degrees, so sort of upside down if you like, and then turn it the necessary 135 degrees clockwise to lock it in. If that makes any sense.

Was expecting to have to mod the mount to take the Bolt, but it just goes in there.

Thanks! Why does Wahoo not know about this? Their customer service forwarded me to K-edge or Barfly.

I have the Profile Design Aero HC bottle mounted. I slid the bottle as far forward as it would go and the computer mount all the way back. I put the standard Bolt bar mount on and tightened it. While it bounces a little on rough road, I'm going to fix that with some superglue here once I'm convinced it's the setup I want. Otherwise, I can tilt the Bolt for the best viewing angle based on my position and it works well. The bottle ended up with the nose all the way forward by my shifters, but that doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I've invented a couple of comfortable aero hand positions around the bottle itself.
