If no $ limit sell your rims and buy clinchers or tubeless and get some Vittorias.

I haven't done testing myself, but some very knowledgeable trackies claim this one has incredibly low rolling resistance.
I use it when racing track on wood. I'd never risk using it off a wood track, personally.
But you asked.

As has been hinted at it is usually not the cost factor but the balance of puncture resistance and speed.
The fastest tyre in the world is no good to you if it doesn't make it to the finish.

At the risk of being helpful, at bicycle rolling resistance the fastest tubular they have ever tested is the Vittoria Corsa Speed. Crr of 0.00264 at 140 psi, or 8.8w to turn it at 29km/h if you like that sort of thing.

This ^
I got suckered in to buying Corsa Speed Tubs at the start of the season and ended up with 3 flats. I reads all about how fast they were, but ignored the numerous comments re flats and lack of puncture protection. And I had sealant. I do people that race with these and have never flatted though. But they are wafer thin.
