The Department of Justice inspector general testified before the Senate's judiciary committee today, revealing that his office is now investigating fired FBI director James Comey for potentially mishandling classified information. I call that some serious irony, right there.
Also, it appears Comey (whose 'higher loyalty' seems to be completely to himself) refused to testify before Congress, and his former deputy (and one-time acting) director, Andrew McCabe has pleaded the Fifth Amendment, which is probably a smart move on his part.
Comey refuses to testify to Congress, McCabe pleads Fifth Amendment.
So while that guy sitting in the White House hasn't gotten his wall as yet, it appears the FBI stonewall has been nicely erected. ;-)
"Politics is just show business for ugly people."
