Crank arm spacer that came with my P2

Hello everyone

Originally a roadie I'm new to Triathlon and got me set up on a 2018 P2 with Shimanos 105 Groupset. I've replaced the crank with a P2M equipped Rotor3d24. The BB is the stock one thats designed to work with the 24mm diameter cranks.
Installation was plug and play bu when removing the non drive side crank arm of the FC-5800 crank there was a small black spacer about 1mm in thickness on the crank shaft. My question is does this belong to the P2 or to the 105 Crank? I ask because none of my shimano equipped road bikes (105, ultegra) came with this and I've been wondering if I would need to fit this to the Rotor24 crank as well. From what I can gather its looking just fine without it. I just don't want to cause any damage.

Any advice is appreciated!

Paula

Have a look on the back of the shimano crank arm and see if the black ring has fallen out of it, it happens.

I don't see it here:

But I do see it here on page 17

It's unclear if there are two different size spacers, one for double and one for triple.
