Here’s one for Steve who mentioned there’s not enough project threads anymore.
Our house is a dumping ground for sports equipment and toys. Which is great for the kids but a mess in my garage. Few weeks ago we came home with a SUV loaded to the gills with “stuff” and I couldn’t deal with tripping over it even when it was put away.
I found this idea and oddly found two pallets that afternoon. Works for sports equipment and yard tools.
Once you pick the height you want both compartments you mark and cut. I used a circular saw. I attached the front and back using scrap 1x2 I had laying around. You could make it look a little nicer by removing a board from the back section and putting on the bottom front. I also saw this painted with a white wash that looks nice.
*look for marking on origination of pallet. There’s info out there on ones I think treated with bad chemicals or something like that you want to avoid.
"I think I've cracked the code. double letters are cheaters except for perfect squares (a, d, i, p and y). So Leddy isn't a cheater... "
