Is this tire toast?
Third ride on new tires got some glass embedded in the tire. Changed the flat and removed it. Is this thing toast or would you ride it? It’s the rear tire as of now. Pic is of the glass and remaining “hole”.

I would just put a tire patch on the inside and give it a try. I think you will be fine with a butyl tube.

Latex maybe not. I have an old wheel Spynergy wheel that had a tiny pin hole in the inside of the rim. I probably rode it for 15 years with butyl tubes. Latex lasted under 5 minutes. Those thing will find the slightest imperfection and work their way out.
