Tour Divide 2018 - BIKES!!! of the Tour Divide
Quote | Reply
The Divide starts tomorrow in Banff.

If you wanted to follow the race you could do so here: http://trackleaders.com/tourdivide18f.php

For now, let's just drill down into what is essentially the Kona Bike Count for super dirty athletes who eat gas station burritos and sleep in ditches for 3 hours a night.

I wanna do this event someday. 'Til then I'll just take in the gear.

Stoked to see a couple sets of panniers in there......

Its crazy, these animals pack lighter for the entire divide than I do for a 2 night, 3 day weekender trip. Thanks for posting.

One of favorite annual endurance events. I saw the finish in 2015 first hand when three guys were within a hour or so each other at Antelope Wells with Josh Kato putting the hammer down before Silver City and passing Jay P and Neil Beltchenko in the middle of the night.

Following the dots again this year.

Check out the Trans Am- similar in spirit but on road from Astoria, OR to Yorktown, VA that started last week... some dude is (was) full on tri set up with a full aero helmet, Dimond bike, tri spoke and disk rear. Ultra minimal gear as well.

Just checked the dots and our fellow triathlete Micheal Rushton has withdrawn.

Suffer Well.
