"rudyprojectaus We have just concluded some amazing aero test at the independent lab of SWISSSIDE who have 50 years of F1 aero testing. Wing57 came out the winner. Furthermore by just moving your head position to 45 degrees and at 45km/h you can save 144 second in a full Ironman tri when compare to a standard road helmet.
Move into, pics, test results. #ironman #ironmantri #ironmancairns #ironmanasiapac #rudyprojectaus #rudyproject #triathlon #triathlontraining #triathletes"

When compared to standard road helmet. Nothing like setting the bar high.

I observed it in the wind tunnel multiple times and it is usually among the worst.

"Compared to the Cerebel on Brad Williams, the Rudy Project Wingspan 57 tested 9 watts slower at 0 and 11 watts slower at yaw."

With proper fitting clothing a lot of watts can be saved. I saw an age grouper who had a seemingly well fitting sleeveless one piece trisuit on. They added a Cuore cycling top with sleeves that fit him very well and that gave him about 14 watts.
